+Retained..+

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've met up with you guys and I miss those days when we all had fun together. However, I guess that I will have to spend lesser time with you guys this year as I've been retained in YJC (repeating Year 1). I'm sure that there'll be some of you who might be shocked by this but to tell you the truth, I expected myself to be retained, in fact, I WANTED to be retained. Why?

Last year, I did a subject combination of:

H2 ('A' Level SUbjects)- Economics, Literature in English and Malay Language & Literature
H1 ('AO' Level Subjects)- Mathematics, General Paper/ Project Work

Apparently, I performed exceptionally bad for my Promotional Exams last year and recently, did very badly for my January Block test. As I was Provisionally Advanced (PA) where they decided to give me the chance to do better for my January block test to determine whether I should be promoted or not.
So I tried studying for it but ended up failing. I said to myself, "You know what, might as well I retain and change my subjects, rather than promoting and still take these subjects and end up failing my 'A' Levels." It true right? So I'm quite happy that I retained.

So the subjects I'm currently taking is:

H2- Geography, Literature in English and Malay Language & Literature
H1- Mathematics

I've only decided to drop Econs and take up Geog as I felt, or rather, my friends felt that dropping two H2 Subjects would be such a big risk. And besides, I've paid for the texts given for the literature subjects and that I've gone through it already (at least I have the foundation on these subjects)(partly also because that I can't take any other subjects like H2 Maths or Music), might as well take a shot at them again right? So I'm going to push myself harder this year. Be it that I get stressed later on, I will still push myself as hard as I can this year. Wish me luck guys.

Oh btw, I know that it's too late for this, but,

Happy 2007 and Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha...

Lolx...

Hope to yee you guys soon.

Toodles!

Yup...after 2 whole months of absence, our dear brother Azmi has finally decided to blog once again on like-blood-brothers.blogspot.com

It's been a long wait for all you closet readers of like-blood-brothers. But i tell you the wait is worth it...Hehehe...

Loads of things has happened through the course of the past 2 months. Alot of which are memories that azmi will keep closely in his heart till the end of time.

Goin to keep my entry short, coz long entries tend to bore people, like me. I know how growing teenagers like you have short attention span. Hahaha...

Niwaez, let me juz sum up th events of the last few weeks especially in a few short phrases...

Annual Hari Raya Gathering - One of the best days of the year, a sought after event year in and year out. Kudos to the organisers (whoever u are...haha)...

Bowling cum Orchard Jalan2 - I felt like a tour guide... Taking a couple of foreigners along Singapore's prime shopping district was fun. Haha...muz do again...

Makan Seoul Garden - coming soon...if got money and if God Willing...

So there u go...like-blood-brothers official 70th entry, by azmi, who people may have thought to have extinct from this blog. HAHA...

Ok ppl, till next time...seen yah...

Hey guys! Selamat Hari Raya Maaf Zahir Batin! Yea finally Syawal has arrived and we should all be thankful that Allah allowed us to see the light of a New Muslim Year and let us appreciate it people. First, I'd like to ask those who I've hurt/ make fun of/ vulgarised etc for forgiveness and hope we could forget of all those ill times. To my Brothers, forgive me if I said something which hurts or annoying and hope to you guys soon. For my EVGian friends, sorry for not keeping touch with you guys that much. To my YJ friends, thank you for making me a friend and sorry if I've hurt any of you (I know I did). So sorry...

Anyway, went jalan raya with the H2 Malay peeps (All except Sufyan & Yasmin) and it was fun!
Although halfway through the journey most of us got tired, we still went on and funny things happened that lifted our spirits (mostly thanks to Mira...lolx!). Thanks girls (& Baqi) for inviting me along for the trip and that means a whole lot to me. Thanks to the parents who've given their efforts to cater/ tolerate to our needs and thanks alot for the food. Sorry if there were times which were rather distracting and once again, thanks for everything....

But I'm to tell you one story, that happened during the jalan raya. Ok so we were at Serangoon to visit Abidah's house and as usual, we were divided into two groups to take the lifts. So I got into the lift with Nurul, Baqi, Suhaidah, Mira and Zawana. Then Baqi started counting for us to hop about in the lift and so we did. I only jumped about twice like that then I stopped. When I stopped, Nurul, Baqi and I don't know who else were still hopping. Then, *crash*glass shattering* ~silence~ I turned, I saw shards of glass falling from the top of the elevator door. The lift jamed for a few seconds before rising slowly. The door opened with a few inches below the storey floor. I stepped over the step, Sue tripped over the step, Sue sprained her ankle, Mira and Zawana tripped and fell on top of Sue, Baqi jumped over the three of them, then Nurul stepped out as quickly as she could. Then everyone's out, the door closed, Abidah came rushing to us, we laughed and laughed.... Yes people, we were scared to death. Alhamdulillah everyone got out before anything else happened. At that very moment, I pictured the scene in Resident Evil when one of the workers tried to crawl though the gap of the lift and the storey floor before meeting her death when the lift collapsed and her body.... ewwgh! That was what we were all afraid of. So now I've learnt my lesson not to jump in lifts anymore. Scary sia! And then, we practically talked about it in Abidah's house and it's like, we were talking at the top of our lungs and I somehow felt guilty that we were disturbing the host and not paying any attention to them. Sorry Abidah.

Then after that we went on with the houses. The next event that happened was Mira's and Sue's antics at Sengkang. I guess that everyone was tired and Mira and Sue saw the need to entertain all of us. So they did this voice or something like as if they have a very bad sore throat. And guess what, Mira said that she was going to talk to the bus driver like that (and she did). Lolx! We were all laughing like as if there was no tomorrow. We were like so noisy and I couild see the people in the bus were irritated with our behaviour. There were those who were sleeping were awakened by our laughter. Then all the way to Sery's house, we talked loudly... Sorry to those i the bus...

Then we reached Pasir Ris and I guess that we alighted at the wrong stop. But since Sery wanted to come and fetch us, we waited there. While waiting, we started taking photos. Then someone had the idea of a ghost picture. So Mira (because of her long hair) became the Pontianak. Then we took the photos and it was a scary one. Great job to Mira (yet again). Then Sery called again and asked us to go to the bus stop before ours. And when we reached there, we saw her and a group of her friends. And one of them was Sufyan *whatever* somehow the sight of him pisses me off and he only salam Baqi and not me. Like hello! can't you see that I'm a guy as well and that I'm wearing a songkok? Kudos to Baqi when he said this:

Sufyan: Apa khabar! (salam using those "cool" salams or something, the ones that Mats do)......... Baqi: Hey itu bukan cara orang Islam salam. (*clap* I guess that Baqi hates him as well)

Then after that, Sufyan just stuck to those other than us. Jee Sufyan, you come to someone's house, go into Sery's room, treat the house as if it were yours, not attending to us (aren't you a H2 student as well) and what's with the outfit? It's so Fucking stupid ah. Go Jalan Raya with that? Don't you like have any sense of sticking to the occasion. Mat Rock my ass! It's like I've (or we've) hated him since a long time ago and he even dared not coming to school after promos. Stupid right? All Mats like that what....

Then Sery's mom had prepared food for us and because of wanting to avoid the midnight charge, we ate quickly and everyone ended up sharing their food. I felt guilty for it but we had to). Then after eating, we excused ourselves and everyone raced down the steps and we divided ourselves accordingly. Then we got our cabs and headed back home...

Once again, thanks you guys for the wonderful Jalan Raya and hope that we could go out once again so that we could go to those houses that we weren't able to cover during the trip. Once again thanks. Oh ya, maafkan Ayul jika ada tersilap kata or perangai Ayul yang menyinggung perasaan sesiapa. Harap dapat memaafkan Ayul. Selamat Hari Raya maaf Zahir dan Batin.

Before I go, here's one more photo (more photos will come)...

+Life as a YJCian... so far+

Hey brothers! How's Puasa coming along? Good? ANyway, ever since the last post from Azhar, all I see now is inactivity in this blog. SO where is everyone? Ok ya I know that eceryone's busy and all- Me with my promotional exams, Azhar, with his 'O' Levels coming, Azmi working at ParRragon MetRro (lolx), Faizal with his Licence and theory plus work at KFC and Shariman, i dunno, what happened to him? Shariman? Where are you? Please blog people, no matter how short or no matter how long. Just blog!

Hi wassup! This is not my blog, Khai just let me type somethiing xD (oh ya people, that's one of my girlfriends in YJ, she's Shi Min and she's like one of the smartest in class la, but can be a lil irritating...lolx)

Anyway, it's a few more days when my Promotional Exams would start again (16th October) and I'm feeling the jitters now. My school has laid out our promotional criterias to J2 and it is made clear that I should pass two H2 subjects and a sub-pass for the third H2 subject. In addition, I must pass all my H1 subjects (ie General Paper and Maths). Here's my plan, I tend to pass my H2 Bahasa & Sastera Melayu and my H2 English Literature. For H2 Economics, I want to get a sub-pass (I must get it!) and I think Maths wouldn't be problem. But as for GP, I don't know. I got scared when my GP teacher told me that the question that I did for my essay is not a good question to attempt. The thing is that, it's about poverty and I did study poverty. SO why not? But whatever it is, just pray for me in my exams and I'm sure I'll be doing the same for my brothers in their exams, especially Azhar!

Oklah... i need to log off now. I have 12 essays due tomorrow legh! SO good day brothers!
